Up for auction is this rare vintage IWC wristwatch, in a big-sized heavy solid 18K yellow-gold beautifully shaped case with teardrop lugs, manufactured in the 1950's

The watch sports a genuine legendary 17 jewels International Watch Co. caliber 89 movement, one of the best manual-wind movements in horological history.

This highly collectible timepiece is an excellent financial investment, always raising its value. No box or papers are coming with the watch but I guarantee its authenticity.

width - 36.5 mm (not counting winding crown):

total weight with band and buckle - 41 g.

18K solid yellow gold; three-piece; signed, numbered and hallmarked; lengthened teardrop lugs; just a few small dents on snap back (see pictures); original non-signed winding crown; scratch-free acrylic crystal.

DIAL:

silver-color dial; professionally re-finished to it's original specifications; gold "Dauphine hands, applied yellow-gold hour indices (sometimes referred to as gold sticks which are more desirable to collectors); central seconds hand; "pearl minute track; signed "International Watch Co. Schaffhausen Swiss".

MOVEMENT:

genuine Swiss Made manual-wind 17 jewels International Watch Co. 89 caliber; signed and numbered;

BAND:

18 mm brown genuine leather band; non signed gold -color buckle; total length of the watch with band  and buckle 9" (23cm). 

Movement runs well and keeps great time.

Vintage watches can be smaller in size but this watch is large. It looks nice on a wrist (see pictures).
