b. 1942 -
He was born in Norwich in 1942, David attended City of Norwich Grammar School where he was taught by well-known Norfolk artist Hamilton Wood. David has been greatly influenced by the East Anglian artists of the 20th Century namely Arnesby Brown, Edward Seago, Alfred Munnings and Ken Howard. He is also an admirer of the French Impressionists and their use of tones in light and shadow. A painter in oil and pastel, his favourite subjects are beach scenes, rural landscape and views of Venice.

Exhibitions Include:
Norfolk and Norwich Art Circle (1986–2003) and around Norfolk.
