Germination tips:
Seeds of Drosera filiformis need a 'winter' to germinate. The common way to perform cold stratification is to sprinkle the seeds on a damp paper towel, in a small plastic zip-lock bag. And then label and place the plastic bag into a refrigerator at about 4°C for 4-6 weeks. After the cold treatment period is done, take the bag out and carefully place the paper towel on top of the potting mix that have been prepared. Keep the seeds warm under light, moist and never let them dry out. Finally, you should see the seeds begin to germinate shortly after the cold treatment.Keep the seeds and seedlings in room temperature. Remove moss, fungus, mushroom and algae if they show up next to your seeds/seedlings.
