ALVAREZ YAIRI VIRTUOSO TRADITION GY-1 Acoustic Electric Guitar w/ Cutaway 1990

An excellent top quality and very rare Alvarez Yairi Virtuoso Tradition GY-1 Acoustic/Electric guitar!!! It has a beautiful multi-bound solid spruce top, Cutaway body, Rosewood back and sides and the back has a detailed center split inlay, a 20 fret fully bound dark Rosewood fretboard with gorgeous Pearl Diamond snowflake inlays on a Mahogany neck, Abalone Alvarez/Yairi headstock logo with a Flower, Rosewood bridge with 6 separate saddles, Multi-bound soundhole, Gold Alvarez/Yairi tuners, Tortoise shell pickguard, and it plays and sounds great with the PR-400 N3 DUCER active on board electronics and pickup with the EQ slider controls!

The condition is Excellent++(a 9.3 out of 10) with light signs of use and shows light to average fret wear, the guitar is really excellent all around with no problems except for light playing scratches and a few dings on the top(see pics). The action at the 12th fret is 3/32", and the saddle height from the bridge is 3/32". No lifting of the bridge and no separation at the neck joint. The nut width is 1 & 11/16".

Serial#44094, made in Japan in 1990(Although the bluebook says made between 1991-1996), includes the nice non-original Alvarez hard case that has some glue residue on the edges from reglueing the binding that was falling off. New list price was $1775.

 

USA Shipping, handling, and insurance charge will be $50 in USPS's deliverable USA 48 states. I usually ship Fed-Ex or USPS Priority but sometimes the larger boxes will ship USPS parcel post. International shipment and handling is $150 for most other countries via USPS's deliverable Priority Mail International delivery plus you may have to pay import taxes/duties to import.

The shipping and handling charge will be $100 for Canada delivery. I reserve all rights.
