This is an authentic Scotch Tape Dispenser.  The spool on the dispenser can hold a 1 inch roll but the core needs to be 3 inches. The stores sell invisible or transparent tape to fit this model. It should not move on your desk as it weighs about 5 pounds. If you have a vintage office this is perfect for you. It is green and metal. It is in really nice condition.
