Alabaster Elephant with baby Elephant inside

This exquisite piece is truly a marvel of stone carving, with fine detail on the outer elephant and amazing craftmanship on the tiny baby elephant inside.  The warm tones and natural grain of the alabaster add to its appeal.

CONDITION
Excellent condition, very minor surface  abrasions to alabaster visibie up close, consistent with a vintage piece that was hand-carried back from India many years ago.

3.5 inches tall, 4 inches wide (trunk to tail)
