108books' PAYMENT POLICY

108books accepts all forms of PayPal payment. Even if you don't have an account with PayPal you can use it to make a credit card funded payment.

BUY IT NOW (FIXED PRICE) LISTINGS require immediate payment.

BUY IT NOW LISTINGS (where a "Best Offer" has been accepted) require full payment within 48 hours (2 days) of invoice. I will send you an invoice upon acceptance of your Best Offer. If you fail to pay for an item by the deadline the item will be relisted, you will be reported to eBay for nonpayment, and you will blocked from bidding on or purchasing my listings.

AUCTION-STYLE LISTINGS require full payment within 72 hours (3 days) of the close of the auction. I will send you an invoice as soon as possible after the end of the auction, and a friendly reminder one day later. If you fail to pay for an item by the deadline the item will either be relisted or offered to the next-highest bidder, you will be reported to eBay for nonpayment and you will blocked from bidding on or purchasing my listings.

ALL BUYERS

All orders are shipped within one (1) business day via USPS (United States Postal Service). In the event of extenuating circumstances (severe weather conditions; local, regional or national emergency, etc.) I will email you to let you know of the delay.

National holidays, regional weather events and other factors outside of my control may delay receipt of your shipment. In the meantime, you can track its progress using the tracking number that you'll receive by email once your item is mailed.

I charge only ACTUAL costs to ship single items. Shipping rates for two or more items from my store combined into one package are assessed at $1.50 for each additional item beyond the base shipping charge for USPS Media Mail, Parcel Post or Priority Mail shipping. If combined shipping rates exceed actual cost by more than a reasonable amount I will gladly refund the difference by PayPal.

Depending on the value of the item, postal insurance based on the value of the item will be included in charges as a handling fee.

Delivery confirmation is included as part of all USPS Priority and Express Mail shipments. Signature confirmation is included for items priced at least $250, or less at my discretion.

I use recycled boxes whenever possible. Be assured your items will be packed to the highest standards so that you receive it in the condition promised in the listing.

International buyers are responsible for duties, taxes and customs clearance fees as required by country laws.

Terms of Sale

Return IS NOT accepted for this item except in the case of defect or significant deviation from what is described in this listing or portrayed in its photographs. In that case, Buyer will be responsible for return postage costs. Please ask if you have questions and do your research to ensure correct fit and compatibility.

For domestic deliveries, wait until at least nine business days (for USPS Media Mail and Parcel Post) or three business days (for USPS First-Class and Priority Mail) have passed before considering your purchase delayed or lost in transit. Delivery time estimates are greater during holiday periods and for shipments to Alaska / Hawaii / Puerto Rico / military outposts and international deliveries. Unfortunately, USPS does not guarantee any service except for Express Mail deliveries.

You will always receive an email confirming shipping on or prior to the day the package is posted that includes a tracking number. I will gladly issue a refund in the event an order is lost due to reasons within my control.

I will accept a return if your package was damaged in transit. In that instance, I require notification and description of damages within three (3) days of your receipt of the package. Please retain the item and all packaging and await further direction pending filing of a claim with USPS. I will issue a refund once I receive the package by return mail. Return postage is at your expense.
