PLEASE READ......Everything has been fully tested and checked. I've had new mirror foam put in and a new foam strip put in down the inside of the cameras back doors hinge so you'll get no light leaks. I've also had the shutter lubed so there is no shutter squeak like so many others. This is approx. a $80.00+ service that 90% of these models need. For honest DISCLOSURE the lens does not lock onto the body but it still works and I can assure you that it still stays on firmly. To remove it you have to firmly twist it off. Other than this disclosure everything else checks out fine. Read on if you are still interested..........

This is a Canon AE-1 Program Camera Body with a Canon FD 50mm f1.8 Lens. This is a very popular Manual Focus SLR 35mm Film Camera. It offers Program Mode, Auto Mode and a Full Manual Exposure Mode making it an ideal camera for any 35mm film photography class or a just a great camera to get creative on. 

The camera body is excellent+ condition with some signs of light use. Everything has been fully tested and checked with the above disclosure that the lens mount button does not lock into place. The lug strap sides look mint. There is a tiny mark on top of the prism head and some minor bright marks on the bottom base plate but overall I would still consider it a very clean example (8.5 out of 10). The camera bodies leatherette finish is tight and complete. All shutter speeds from B/1-1000th have been tested and are working correctly. The lubed shutter has no squeak and the film advance works perfectly. The viewfinder is super clean and clear with only a couple of tiny dust specks (common) that do not turn out in the photos. The light meter reads and adjusts accurately. The shutter curtain is also clean and straight with no wrinkles. Included with the camera is a new Canon rubber eye-cup, a flash sync port cover, a Canon finger grip, a new working battery, a thin camera neck strap, a original Canon AE-1 Program instruction manual, and a out-of-date roll of Fuji 400ASA/24 Color Print Film that may still be good for test film (however no guarantees on the film).

The lens is in mint minus condition with no paint wear, no dings and no dents. The glass has no scratches, no fungus and no haze. The apertures are snappy and click into place positively like they should. The focus works perfectly and it comes with the plain 52mm front lens cap and a Tiffen 52mm Sky 1A Protective Filter. Remember the locking pin does not work.

I 100% guarantee this camera body and lens to be working as described. Please note though that my return policy does not apply to buyer's error or buyer's remorse.
