These Strela Chronographs are very favorite Russian watches - they have the very classic design of the 50´ies and are very comfortable to wear! Official reference number by Strela for this model is model Strela AGENT AG38CYM

In the 50´ties till the 70´ties, Poljot produced the famous and popular Strela "Schaltradchronographs" with the brands "Poljot", "Sekonda" and "Strela". These Chronographs used the complicated mechanic caliber 3017 which is similar to the Venus movements. Fortunately, the russians remind themselves to this history and use this elegant 50´ties design for this new Strela watch series.

These new watches are fitted with the well-known Poljot Valjoux caliber 3133 ( with 21.600 half rotations/hour, shock protection, 23 jewels and approx 48 hours power reserve ) , date between the position "4"-"5", screwed crystal back , slightly curved mineral glas and an elegant stainless steel case with baguette-shaped push buttons and 39 mm diameter.

The black dial with latin spelling,  features a Tele- and Tachymeterscale,  luminous hands and luminous indexes as well as the "Chronograph Class 1" signature. Poljot once differed between better watches for the Export-market and the watches for the sale within the Soviet Union. Nowadays there is no such difference, but they  remind on this historical fact by using the "Class 1" signature for these new watches.

Movement - Poljot manual wind caliber 3133, legendary movement. Thy don't make these movements anymore, so you will see less and less of Russian chronographs for sale in the future and at higher prices.
