IMPORTANT: There are 3 different hubs/boss for MB W107

1. Manufactured W107 MB from 1971 till end of August 1976
have a 15mm spline diameter hub with a small flat locking nut.

2. Manufactured W107 MB from 1977 till December 1979
have a 22mm spline diameter hub and a flat locking nut

3. Manufactured W107 MB from January 1980 till end of 1989
have a 22mm spline diameter hub but with a different countersunk locking nut
and a lip placed on the outside skirt of the hub.

Please check your Mercedes Benz Distributor before purchasing to see if your MB W107 has a manufactured chassis # produced between September 1976 till December 1979.

Origin: I have bought the entire inventory of New Old stock Vintage (1960 - 1980's) Original EFFPI - F.I.V - Nardi steering wheels, hubs and horn buttons from a retired car parts wholesaler in Italy.

BUYING A MERCEDES HUBS: BEWARE WHEN BUYING ON EBAY A MERCEDES HUB / BOSS ,

DO NOT BUY A MERCEDES HUB OFFERED WITH A GENERIC PICTURE, AS " NARDI" hub in "NARDI BOX" those are China made dangerous hub.

There are plenty of Mercedes hubs offered on the market though Ebay sellers from Asia , Italy , The Netherlands and IN US. which are crap and do not comply with European Safety Regulations. Some Italian hubs (Luisi - China made) are badly cast , low quality aluminum, most of those have crack in the poor Aluminum casting which are rectified with epoxy and then sprayed over with a silver paint to make look as it would be the metal, those are covered with a cheap plastic outer skirt and most of those don't even fit (Those cost Euros 16 ($18) in Italy) and are even being sold on Ebay USA as “NARDI HUBS" for $103 in NARDI BOX WITH a " GENERIC PICTURE", not to show the Crap you will receive.

You can purchase used hubs but this is scary and used hubs are not safe. Used Nardi hubs for W107 have already been on vehicles for 30 to 40 years. I have seen many hubs being offered on Ebay with damaged spline, split spline head, with totally used thin brass horn contact rings, damaged or no backside horn contact rings or damaged horn button wiring.

Also some sellers often offer hubs Boss for the wrong year and wrong type of Mercedes type (Mercedes W107 from 1971 till 1989 have 2 different types of spline diameter 15 mm + 22 mm and 3 different hub boss fitting with 3 different MB locking nut – 1971 to 1976 - end of 1976 to end of 1979 and 1980 to 1989).

When buying a used hub from a private individual or even from a dealer you can get in trouble - it might not fit - the spline head might be damaged - the horn contact may not work and most of the time the buyer sees the problem too late and cannot make a claim anymore.
