This is a very nice early American Antique Wheel form Iron and Twisted Wire Trivet with center support. This early Trivet is all Hand Made with meticulous braiding of the wire, forming the wheel. Each wire is bent in to place. Each wire has been Tinned / Secured in place on the underside. There is a tin sleeve / brace holding the wheel together. A very secure and well made piece.  A great piece of early Americana. This early Antique Wire Trivet is in very good condition.         THIS WOULD MAKE A GREAT ADDITION TO A ANTIQUE WIRE COLLECTION OR MOUNTED ON WALL
