This auction is for a Carl Zeiss Jena DDR MC „electric” Flektogon 35mm F2.4 wide angle M42 screw mount lens.
It’s in excellent good condition, optically almost 100% clear inside, no scratches, no haze, no opalescence, no internal dust, no airbubbles or any fungus between the glass elements, only one very small (micro sized) black dot inside the lens. No cleaning marks on the front and rear glasses. MC layer is also 100% perfect!
There’re no scratches or paint missings on the lens body, maybe never or hardly used, very beautiful lens body, almost 100% brand new feeling!!!
Focusing is smooth and the aperture works fine. The diaphragm blades move nicely at every aperture position.
The aperture blades are 100% clean, there’s no oil on them!
Lens body has extremely slight wear. The lens has multi coated layers (MC) on every glass elements, so avoiding the lens from flare, and also has an auto / manual aperture switch.
It has four-digit serial number: 9685.
CZJ lenses with four & five digit serial numbers are the most recent, and most sought after copies and they were made in the last year of production!
It’s very good for macro shots without extension tube, because focus minimum is 0.19m!!!
This lens has M42 screw mount, so it will fit on all M42 35mm SLR film cameras.
Also fit on many other SLR, DSLR or MILC cameras with using a correct adapter.

Since this is an electric version of flektogon, the TTL light metering will work at full aperture setting on selected Praktica M42 mount cameras (Praktica LLC, VLC, PLC series), but this feature is not avaliable with DSLR sor MILC cameras (and other non Praktica M42 cameras) when used with an adapter.

It comes with original front and rear caps with original leather hard case!
