On offer is a United Models HOn3 brass K-28.

The locomotive has been stored for many years. Track testing this morning shows one main problem, there is a burning odour from the open frame motor. This could be 2 things, the motor is close to death, or it could be the motor and brushes need a thorough clean. The new owner will need to consider their options here.

The locomotive has been painted, though I would grade the paint as average at best. The keen Grande modeller will almost certainly want to repaint.

No parts bag. The brass work in general is tight, nothing is seen as loose or broken or missing.

You will note the PSC brass parts, it was my intention to rebuild this piece as the bumblebee K-28.

No lighting. Original box. The foam amazingly is still in good condition, the top layer of foam is missing, I ensure this piece, like all will be well packed for it's journey.

This listing is part of an entire HOn3 inventory disposal. Dozens of  locomotives, cars, structures, and new and unused track will be for offer over the next few months. Reluctantly, it's time to part company with my H.O Grande collection.
