The Nikon FH-3 is a film holder designed to hold 35mm format film for a Nikon Coolscan III, IV, V, 4000, or 5000 models. You can place a whole film strip up to 6 positives or negatives in the holder. This unit also accepts single frames as well. 

In order to insert positives or negatives in the strip film holder you have to open it, insert the film material and then close it with a spring lock. Due to this firm lock it is also possible to scan strongly curled or curved film strips.

The strip film holder FH-3 is especially important if you have strongly curled or curved film strips which jam with the standard SA-21 feeder. It is also an important tool for single, not mounted positives or negatives.

To use:  Insert this film strip holder into a slide mount adaptor MA-21 or MA-20 (not included).
