This is an editable PDF label tool which allows you to print classic dial label designs for vintage phones with your desired exchange name and number using historically accurate fonts. If you are a collector and like to have high quality and accurate reproduction labels, almost indistinguishable from the real thing, or if you are a seller of labels to colletors, this is ideal for you. Forget paying over and over for all the poor photocopies and cheap inkjet knockoffs ever again.
What do I get?
You get a PDF/s, featuring an A4 page with twenty copies of each label, which you can individually edit using the pre-set text areas and buttons to switch on and off the backgrounds and text. This offers you complete control over creating and printing out labels to suit your needs, whether that be blank labels for stamping with a rubber stamp tool, or using the in-built number and exchange name functions to print off complete labels. I also include a PDF user guide.
How does it work?
1. Open the PDF's using Adobe Acrobat 6+ Reader (this is a free download)
2. Using the interactive buttons, select whether to create your label with a plain white or cream 'aged' background
3. Select the 'EXCHANGE NAME' text and type in your desired name - it will type in a historically accurate font
4. Select the '0123...9' numbers and type in your desired number - it will also type in a commonly used font (or leave blank for your number stamp if you want)
5. Print it, cut them out, save a copy - and use it over and over again. Comes with an easy-to-follow user guide
Can't I just send you my number and exchange name, and you send me a label?
No - with this product you type in the details yourself and print them yourself. The advantage is you have total control over how they look, and you can type in as many different numbers and exchange names as you want. This is much more economical than buying one-off, pre-prepared labels.
How is it supplied?
Please note - because it is a digital PDF file, it will be sent to you on a CDROM by postal mail.
Sending it by email or by any other digital delivery method is not allowed and violates eBay policy.
The tool is a PDF supplied on a CDROM for use on both Mac and Windows PC (XP minimum; PDA devices may not work correctly) which runs the Adobe Acrobat Reader 6+. (This is often installed on most machines but can be downloaded and installed for free. Other third-party PDF viewer programs may not display the file correctly). The artwork is of a very high quality, having been professionally typeset, and all the typefaces used have been chosen to be as close to the original as possible.

Can I sell my own labels using this tool?
Yes - if you buy this PDF tool you may print (and sell) as many paper labels as you wish when you buy this PDF, but you cannot resell the PDF itself or pass it on to anyone else. Purchase of the PDF does not confer the right of resale of the PDF itself to you if you purchase it. The PDF and the copyrighted artwork it contains may not be resold without prior permission from the copyright holder (me). The fonts used in the label artwork are embedded into the editable PDF and are not distributed, as per the font licence. This allows only selected text areas within the artwork to be edited, rather than created. You will not receive any font files in this CDROM.
