South Bend 323 Bamboo Fly Rod, 8 1/2', excellent original, nonoriginal, but SB vintage bag & tube, with 2 original tip sections, script reads "323 - 8 1/2', E or HEH," South Bend label at 100%, very good reel seat(wanted black seat, fully operational), soft grip (with no ridging), original ferrules(release with good pops) and 7 guides plus original stripper(seem original as well as tip tops), all sections are straight & of original length(the very slightest of sets on the tips as each the tip ferrule) exi, the ferrules are tight to the wood, excellent wraps and overall varnish finish, very versatile split cane rod- most users seem to like this taper with a 5 weight or so( this would be a solid 5 or a fast 4)...please see pics...Beautiful, beautiful craft from an earlier age...
