The Scouting 50p coin was produced in 2007  to celebrate 100 years since the birth of the scouting movement which was started by Robert Baden-Powell in 1907. It features a fleur des lys over a globe to show the world, with the writing "BE PREPARED", "1907" and "2007", and  "FIFTY PENCE".
