This computer has been upgraded with to a Solid State Hardrive (SSD) from a Hard Disk Drive (HD). Like a memory stick, there are no moving parts to an SSD. Rather, information is stored in microchips. Conversely, a hard disk drive uses a mechanical arm with a read/write head to move around and read information from the right location on a storage platter. This difference is what makes SSD so much faster.

*What you see in pictures 6 and 7 are not a major problem. The computer runs completely fine and that has never affected anything. I never did anything about it because it didn't bother me and it wasn't affecting the computer. It's an easy fix if it's something that really bothers you.*
