Good working condition Some marks to lid as shown but that is common on these given their age
This listing also includes:
- Parallel Interface - 64KB Memory Card with PIN ID program backed up on it (and new battery fitted) - File Manager/Tutorial Card - Owner's Manual - Parallel Interface Manual - Interface cable - Power adapter (not official) - Samsonite case
I
learned how to do the program and now have the fully functional PIN
Identification Program on this computer. It is as accurate to the movie
as I can make it
The program is available online but you need the
right cables, transfer program, and connector on your computer to be
able to connect it up and do it which many new models do not have. None
of mine have the 25 pin connector so I was unable to do it that way. I
had to make this program manually myself on the atari so I could still
get the program on this. For anyone else who does not have the connector
on their computer required to do this I am offering this so you can
have it too
**The last picture shows
my personal atari which I have completed to the full prop, how it could
look if you wanted to add all that too. Those are just for examples
only, nothing that isnt shown in the other pictures are included with
this**
Here is a video showing the program running on another machine I sold. It is exactly the same on this one
This video is of my personal Atari and has the movie scene at the beginning to show the program comparison
Upon request I can change the generated PIN code to something else, e.g the code in Cyberdyne is 7256
Program
is easy to run. Press any key to turn the Atari on. It may ask you to
enter date and time first. Once you get to the line beginning 'c>'
Just type 'PINID' and press enter and the program will automatically
run. The portfolio runs a DOS based system called DIP. It is not
sensitive to upper/lower case so it doesnt matter how you type it in it
will still run
**This will be sent with brand new Duracell batteries installed, requires 3x AA batteries or adapter power supply. I have to send these with batteries in in order for the files to remain on it**
I always check it is fully working right before I pack it up to send so it is guaranteed to be working as shown when it leaves me. I would not send something that had issues unless it was listed as such

It
is advised to change the batteries before they go completely dead as
programs can sometimes be removed if that happens or if you take the
batteries out for too long (change them within ~5 mins of removal to prevent file loss). As long as you replace them quickly after
removing them there will be no problems. Using it with an AC adapter can
also help, if you keep it connected to the adapter it will be continually powering it so there will be no risk of batteries dying. As these are never properly shut down they are continually
running down power. When you turn it 'off' its not completely off, it is
held in a low power state so it resumes where you left off. The only
way to turn it off completely is to remove the batteries which, as
mentioned above will remove the saved data if they are out for too long.
Change them within a few minutes to retain stored data. I havent had
the problem in awhile but it has happened to me before. If you ever did
lose the program though I would be willing for it to be sent back to me
for me to put it back on then send it back to you
However I am including a memory card with this listing and have backed the files up on it so if there is any problems running it from the console, you can run it off the memory card instead. To do that on the line beginning c> type A: and it will then change to the A drive (which is the memory card) and the line will then begin a> then run the program as normal. The memory card itself also
has a battery in it which will need to be replaced periodically in
order to keep the stored data. It should last as least a year and that is probably with high usage. I have just fitted a brand new battery in it so its good to last for a long time yet. The program is also run off the card in the movie as you can see the line
begins 'a>' which is the drive used by the memory card rather than
'c>' drive
*******
Obviously the program doesnt really work on atms. It is a prop only
*** I
only send these via recorded delivery due to value. International via
tracked service to ensure value is covered, hence cost. I have sent
multiple of these out of country before and this is what it costs. I can
send it a cheaper method if you want but that is on you if you want to
risk decreased cover, should anything happen I would only be able to claim back the max value covered by that service. If you want it sent normal airmail without
tracking then let me know prior to payment and I will send an invoice
***I can post this on Saturdays/Mondays***
Payment via Paypal only, to be received within 48 hours of auction end or ebay automatically opens an unpaid item case on my behalf. Non payment is recorded on your account
