Used ASUS Strix Geforce GTX 1070 8GB with backplate.  I've had it for about 6 months and have had absolutely no issues with it at all. It requires an 8-pin power connector and a recommended 500W power supply.  It is a fantastic card for 1440p gaming and is also high in demand for cryptocurrency mining.
