TEMPLATE FOR BDM 100 ECU 

BDM100 is an interface for using the mode BDM (Background Debug Mode) 

  present in many units on the market. 

It is a device that allows reading, programming, backup and restore 

of the three basic components of the ECU: Microprocessor, EEPROM and FLASH memory. 

The communication between BDM100 and parts of the controller takes place through 

the mediation of the microprocessor. 

This requires the presence of a micro Motorola series MPC5xx 

inside the unit itself. 

With this system it is possible to read the eprom contained in the control 

and in case of block or incorrect 

  checksum calculation you can always start programming 

  to return the unit to the starting condition (after reading the original). 

The surgery needs to disconnect the ECU from the car, the opening 

and the connection to the 

  through the BDM port present in the control units EDC16, MJ Marelli, Siemens and Delphi. 

  It is therefore necessary to weld on the BDM port of the ECU connector type strip, 

and then plug the adapter supplied. 

  This operation can be avoided by use of a special jig. 

It 'an article constructed with the highest quality materials
