Why are the shoes marked subs? What does that mean

C&J used to sell subs in their shops at a slightly reduced price. Shoes are marked subs when they are ex-display, dirt marks on the sole,minor scuffs or marks, slight colour variation in the leather, stitching imperfection or don't meet their guideline standard. Subs are made with the same quality leather and process. 

HD photos of the product exhibit the fine details and it is fair to say these are in fantastic cosmetic condition. Buy with full confidence and save some cash. I have sold a few of these and I wear them myself. In my personal opinion, these are just as good as new. Overall, these are handmade shoes with the highest quality.
