Lightwave Classic 2000 Blue LED Flashlight

New Lightwave model LW-2000-BLU flashlight. This is a lightweight, rugged, watertight, bright blue LED light source. Operates on 3 "AA" batteries not included.

Fluorescent application: This flashlight does not produce ultraviolet, but some materials like Fluorescein dye will fluoresce under      blue light (see pictures). The peak emission of this flashlight is around 460nm.

ANVIS night vision application: This flashlight can be used in the presence of an ANVIS NVG operator without blinding or affecting the amplification (gain) of the goggles. This means a co-pilot (with unaided eyes) could be reading a manual with this light while the pilot is using the NVGs. The NVGs with "see" this light but does not have any gain at this wavelength.

Other Applications include hunting (detecting blood trail), light therapy, and forensics.

Flashlight comes with a lanyard. Does not come with factory packaging. Batteries not included.
