Up for auction is an incredible lot of vintage Pentax items related to macro photography. These items all appear to be the from the same original owner, and most items are contained in their original boxes with little signs of use. It is rare to find these items together all in their original packaging. Many of the items are engraved with CA or CALIF A935719, but I do not know what this means. The main item of interest is an amazing condition Bellows-Takumar 100mm f4.0 macro M42 lens, still in original box w/ lens case. The lens case's strap appears like it's never even been taken out of the plastic packaging. A full list of items follows:
-Honeywell Pentax Bellows-Takumar 100mm f4 lens (M42 screw-mount) with original box containing lens, lens case, lens case strap, and original warranty card. I did not see any significant flaws or defects in this lens. The aperture adjusts smoothly and the glass is very clean with no signs of fungus or haze. Please note this lens is fixed-focus and designed to use with bellows for macro use.
-Honeywell Pentax Auto Bellows with original box, shutter release, two rulers for measuring distances with 50mm or 55mm lenses either normal or reversed, instruction booklet, and typed and hand-written measurements.
-Honeywell Pentax Slide Copier, with original box.
-Honeywell Pentax Copipod 35mm Camera Stand, with original box, case, and instructions.
-Honeywell Pentax Strobonar 600 flash in original box, with cord.
-Sylvania Sun Gun II flash with original box and cord.
-Pentax Right Angle Finder Attachment with case, Pentax Variable Close-Up Ring w/ original box and case, Honeywell Pentax Lens Kit for Series 65 Strobonars w/ original box and case, 2 packs of Sylvania Blue Dot Flashbulbs (1 box not complete).
This should be just about everything you need (except camera and tripod) and then some to take great macro pictures either on a M42 film camera or digital camera with appropriate adapters. Please note I did not test any of the equipment for functionality, but everything appears to be in great shape.
