This listing is game # 809 of 1000 (800 English) Limited Edition copies of Lords of Middle-Earth, published by Ares Games.  The game is still sealed in it's box.  Several pictures that display the minis are from my personal copy. 

This is an expansion for the War of the Ring board game also published by Ares games and it is meant as an official expansion for the War of Ring Collectors Edition published by Fantasy Flight Games.  (The Collector's Edition is not required to play this.  A standard 2nd Edition or an upgraded 1st edition of the game are all that's needed.)  This Limited Edition is numbered out of 800 English copies printed.  Another 200 copies were printed in German.

This special edition will feature a complete set of hand-painted miniatures and its production run is limited to 800 copies, in English version, numbered and with a certificate of authenticity.

Lords of Middle-earth allows players to explore different possibilities in the game, and features new characters: Elrond, Galadriel, Gothmog and the powerful Balrog, as well as alternate versions of the Witch-king and the Mouth of Sauron (represented with specific miniatures and rules).  It also includes new figures for Aragorn and Gandalf the White.

The expansion also features new special Action Dice - Elven Ring Keepers dice for the Free Peoples player and Lesser Minion dice for the Shadow player - and new versions of all the Companions of the Fellowship of the Ring, to play the optional “Council of Rivendell” rules.

In addition to the painted miniatures (compatible with the War of the Ring Collector’s Edition), the Limited Edition of Lords of Middle-earth will include the Treebeard promotional mini-expansion (with painted miniature and card) and a numbered certificate of authenticity.  All the contents are packaged in an elegant, embossed and hot-foil stamped, box.
