Up for auction is a previously owned ASUS G53S Republic of Gamers 15.6-Inch Gaming Laptop i7 2.0GHz 10GB RAM 640GB HDD AS-IS. Item is in previously owned condition. It is being sold AS-IS FOR PARTS OR REPAIR ONLY. The battery on this unit is bad and will not charge, so it will only run off of the power cord. The screen has intermittent issues - discoloration in certain areas and sometimes the screen didn't come on at all until I plugged an external monitor into the video output.
This laptop has a strong odor to it, even though I wiped it down numerous times. Charger is not OEM. The keyboard shows signs of being removed without using the proper tools, so it no longer seats properly and clips into place (clips are broken?). Eventually, I was able to test this item - it connected to the internet, loaded Youtube and played videos properly. The speakers and DVD player worked fine. The keyboard worked properly. I cleaned off as many viruses as I could find, but there may be some that I missed. NO RETURNS.
Auction includes: Laptop and Charger only - nothing else. Please inspect all pictures, they show the items condition so you can judge for yourself and make an informed bid. Please note that we are not computer experts and even though we try to be as thorough as possible, there may be something that we missed.
