ITEM:  This is an amazing find!!  A true vintage, 1940s -1950s, bathing suit that was never worn and has the original store tag attached! Pinup Bombshell all the way! What a curvy fit to accent your features! Light blue color with white piping trim and white button accents.  There are no tags, - so the fabric is unknown.  I wonder if this is a type of Lastex?  The fabric has some stretchability, but the surface feels like a very lightweight cotton canvas.  Straight cuts on the front faux skirt and bodice.  Elastic on the back leg openings and back bodice.  Metal Talon zipper closure on back.  Shoulder strap can be adjusted with use of the metal slide on the right side.  Shaped breast cups have a rounded bullet point, and are boned within the nylon blend lining.  Crotch has a rubber/plastic lining. No brand labels, but still has the original store tag attached, and was originally sold at Pries Apparel Shops.

CONDITION:  Vintage new old stock with the original store tag attached. Unworn.  Fabric is durable with very good bounce in the elastics.  Good working zipper.  Has been stored away all these years, and has acquired some light dust/slight soiling along the way (which is difficult to see with the naked eye, but you can see it in my photos). Give it a proper laundering and/or good and I believe it will clean up just fine.
