Icon 2296 is a classic pull-on, soft-toe work book designed for general work and the service industries. The slip resistant sole reduces the risk of slips and falls on hazardous surfaces. Also offers additional insulation and protects the wearer against accidental contact with an electric charge. Constructed with water resistant leather, padded ankle support and an EVA footbed to ensure total comfort and a great fit. Dr. Martens air-cushioned sole is resistant to fat, petrol, alkali and upper and sole are heat sealed and sewn together.
MATERIAL
An oiled and snuffed full-grain water-resistant leather. The darkness of this leather can vary from one style to another.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
[Valcano] = Clean Away dirt using a damp cloth, allow to dry apply a clear wax based shoe polish to restore shine as desired. In the event of heavy scuffing or loss of colour then clean as before but add a matching coloured wax based shoe polish and buff up the leather with brush and cloth as required.
CONSTRUCTION
This is a Goodyear-welted product. The upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, not merely glued like many footwear constructions.
