This auction is for a P. Angenieux Paris Retrofocus Type R1 35mm F2.5 wide angle EXA, exakta mount lens.
It’s in good condition, optically very clear inside, no dust as I see, no fungus, no haze, no opalescence or any airbubbles between the glass elements.
ATTENTION! There’re many micro-sized & short soft scratches (& cleaning marks) on the front glass’ surface unfortunately, but the coating layer has no problem or fault! No affecting on lens’ working!
There’re some minimal scratches and paint missings on the lens body, maybe normally used, very nice, but a little bit anodized lens body!!!
Focusing is smooth and the aperture works fine. The diaphragm blades move nicely at every aperture position.
The aperture blades are clean, there’s a very minimal oil on them, no affecting on lens’ working!
Lens body has extremely slight wear. The lens has a single coated layers on every glass elements, so avoiding the lens from flare.
Serial number is: 440735.
It has 12 (!!!) aperture blades, so its colours and bokeh are legendary, soft and unique.
This lens has EXA, Exakta mount, so it will fit on all 35mm SLR film cameras with EXA mount.
Also fit on many other SLR, DSLR or MILC cameras with using a correct adapter.
