They are fashioned by cutting and stitching 40-80-year-old hand-knotted old and antique Turkish kilims. The kilims are handwoven rugs colored with vegetable dyes. The front side is made of wool, while the backside is cotton fabric with a hidden zipper. The kilims were meticulously handwoven using pure new wool and occasionally adorned with simple embroidery after weaving. The wool was dyed with vegetable dyes before the weaving process. The vibrant, natural tones and straightforward geometric patterns of vintage kilims are cherished worldwide. You can witness their beauty firsthand. The kilims are carefully selected, cleaned, and, if needed, restored before being transformed into cushions. Our kilim cushions are predominantly made from recycled materials.
