Opening and Closing Jump Rings
Never pull the jump rings apart by distorting the circle. Take your flat nose pliers and hold onto one side of the jump ring. Use your thumb or a second pair of pliers to push one side of the jump ring away from you while using the flat nose pliers to pull the other side of the jump ring toward you.
