The n3 works with Macs running OS version 10.3 through 10.8. Included in the shipment is a CD which has PC and Mac software, as well as the instructions to install this device on your PC or Mac. FAQ- some common questions about the n3:

This says it has a maximum range of 150 mbps, so that means I will always connect at 150 mbps, right?
-150 mbps is the maximum speed you may get with this when using with an 802.11n standard router. The speed will drop as the distance between the adapter and router increases or if there are obstacles and interference in your area.

I have an 802.11n router, and my other 802.11n adapter connects at a different speed, why?
-802.11n is a draft standard that has not been ratified yet, not all brand 802.11n adapters work the same with all brand 802.11n routers. In our testing we could get better speeds connecting to one brand router vs. another from the same distance in the same environment. Your speed may vary, but should be between 65 mbps and 150 mbps.

I am only connecting to my home 802.11g access point at 54 mbps, and your ad says 65-150 mbps, what's up?
-In order to take advantage of the fast speeds and longer range offered by 802.11n, both the adapter and the router/access point must be 802.11n standard. You can use this with an 802.11g or b standard access point, but your top speeds will be limited to the top speeds of the router, 54 mbps in the case of 802.11g, and 11 mbps in the case of 802.11b.

Orders will generally be shipped the same or next day after payment is received. Periodically if we are experiencing unusually high order volume, your order may not be shipped until the second business day after payment is received, but this is not usual. We offer both UPS and US Postal methods of shipping as described below.

US 50 States + Puerto Rico: FREE US Postal Parcel Post/First Class. This includes delivery confirmation and insurance. It can take from 3-7 days to arrive, and sometimes longer.

US 50 States + Puerto Rico: $5.00 US Postal Priority Mail. This includes delivery confirmation and insurance. According to the US Postal Service, Priority Mail takes an average of 2-3 delivery days to arrive. This is not a guaranteed transit time though, it is just an average delivery time.

US 48 States: $10.50 UPS Ground Service. This includes insurance and tracking. This rate is only for bidders in the Continental US. We do ship to Alaska/Hawaii and APO/FPO but it must go via the US Postal Service so please take a look at a US Postal option. If you need the item shipped via an expedited method like 2nd Day Air, please inquire with your zip code for rates before bidding. UPS Ground can take from 1-7 days or longer depending on your proximity to our shipping location which is in Florida. UPS can take longer than US Postal Service Priority Mail, but UPS tracking tends to be updated more often than Postal Service tracking, and UPS tracking typically posts an estimated delivery date online within 12 hours after shipping, where as US Postal Serivce tracking does not.

International Shipping Rates & Customs Duty Information: Standard International shipping takes about 2-4 weeks to arrive on average. The cost is $6.95 to Canada, and $10.95 for other countries. Express Mail is available for $45.00. Import duties and taxes are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior. GENERAL NONPAYMENT POLICY- Remember that your purchase is a contract to pay for the item. Please don't click the "Buy Now" button unless you will pay for the item. Payment is due within seven days from the end of auction. If you have a problem completing the auction, please communicate with us. Please make sure this is the item you want before buying as once an auction is won or purchased unfortunately because of nonrefundable eBay listing and feature fees we are unable to accomodate cancellations (exception- if you buy the wrong type of adapter for your computer, such as a laptop card when you meant to buy a desktop card, we can switch your order to the correct type).

The following is our return policy. We are not able to make exceptions to this policy so please read carefully before making a purchase. While we would grately appreciate your business, if you are not in full acceptance and agreement with these terms unfortunately at this time you are not eligible to bid or select "buy it now" on the auction. Bidding or selecting "buy it now" on this or any of our auctions constitutes full acceptance and agreement with all of our auction terms including our return policy.

At Rokland, our products are guaranteed to work for 30 days. Additionally, we want customers to be able to return products that they don't want, don't like, or did not mean to buy. That said, we do incur costs for each return, such as the nonrefundable eBay listing and feature fees. If an item returned was new, we must resell it for much less money as a used open box item. Therefore, we charge a minimal 10% restocking fee on all returned items (new and used), except for products that test defective upon receipt back here. We believe this is a fair policy as most eBay sellers do not allow for any non-defective items to be returned at all, and the ones that do typically charge a 20% restocking fee. Again, this 10% restocking fee will be applied to all returns except where a product is reported to us as defective and tests defective upon receipt back here (if the product you return is defective we can send a replacement at our expense or issue a refund of the item price, whichever you prefer). A restocking fee WILL be charged even in the event a product does not work on your PC due to incompatibility or a conflict with another piece of hardware on your system, so long as the product is not defective. We can work with you to troubleshoot the problem if you have any difficulty getting it to work. We will not charge a restocking fee if you wish to exchange a non-defective product for something else, however a new shipping charge will apply for the new shipment.

While we would certainly appreciate your business, if you feel that a restocking fee would not be acceptable in the event you want to return a non-defective product to us, please do not make the purchase. If you do wish to return a product, please contact us for an RMA number and return address instructions. In addition to the restocking fee (which will be deducted from your refund), shipping and return shipping expenses are not refundable under any circumstance unless we ship you the incorrect product. In the event we send the wrong item, we will send the correct one to you at our expense and also reimburse you for your return shipping of the incorrect product.

There are no other warranties on this auction, expressed or implied. The exception to this is if the description states there is a manufacturer's warranty. In this event the item should be returned to the manufacturer in accordance with that warranty if necessary.
