I have a Clean Title 1992 honda civic vx 1.5l sohc vtec 5 speed manual, ICE COLD A/C, BRAND NEW PAINT JOB, NEW WHEELS & TIRES, NEW SUSPENSION ALL AROUND, NEW RADIO..... NO RESERVE!
Here is a brief description of my car, now im gonna describe the car the best i can, tell you where i got it from and all the work i have done to it since i got it.
I got this car early this year from my friends parents that had owned this car, they got into a slight fender bender and they had no money to fix it. I am being honest about the car, no civic will have no damage escpecially this old. the car was barley touched on the passenger side corner. the hood, fender and headlight needed to be replaced, thats all that was needed at the time. my friends parents did not want to fix the car and the second party paid for the damages, they ended up buying a brand new car. I was approached from my friends parents if i wanted to purchase the car and i said yes i will buy the car from you since i love hondas and they seen how i fix them up so i decided to buy this vx hatchback, thats how i got this car.
Im selling the Hatchback only because i have grown out of hondas, not my style anymore.
Now for the fun stuff, i decided to completely swap out the front end. bought a new hood, new fenders both left and right didnt need to replace the left side but i didnt want to bondo the fender up since it did have a small dent so i replaced them both. new front bumper, new lower lip, new yellow foglights and it wired up to work with its own switch not with the parking lights so you can turn the foglights off with its own switch and have the headlights on. new black housing headlights with hid kits installed (6000k headlight bulbs) amber corner lights that was all for the front end. the mirrors are spoon replica mirrors which are really not usable since they are smaller, they are just for looks. Tail lights are euro clear tail lights which i happen to like gives the car a newer look in my opinion, some of you may not like them but thats ok. Brand new oem honda mud flaps all the way around still has the stickers on them
Engine
Has the d15z1 which is the 1.5 L sohc vtec, 5 wire 02 sensor, long ratio transmission with 5 speeds. short shifter installed. o2 sensor was replaced from the previous owner no check engine lights on! Long block was replaced by the previous owner with a imported engine from japan, long block was only replaced which is the block and head. everything else was reused! New clutch was installed when the long block was swapped for the new engine. no knocking or smoking from this engine! Car gets an amazing 45 to 55 mpg depending the way you drive! motor is all stock no mods! DRIVES STRAIGHT AND SHIFTS PERFECT do not know the exact mileage of the car but it does have a new motor with paper work! it shows on the history report that is has 272k but to my understanding i thought i had close to 200 from what the previous owner told me. i didnt care about the mileage on the car since he gave me paper work on the motor and all that had been done to it. runs perfect!
Suspension
For the suspension I used no name coilovers, yes they are no name coilovers but it rides pretty good. has monroe shocks which were replaced about 2 years ago from the previous owner. when we installed the coilovers they had plenty of pressure so we reused them. car does ride stiff which most slammed civics do when they are running a setup like mine. camber control arms were installed in the front to tuck in the tires, camber kit installed in the rear to also give the car some camber to tuck in the rear wheels. Alignment was also done, camber was adjusted evenly on all 4 corners do keep the wheels inside the fenders. Toe was adjusted at " 0 " toe to keep your tires wearing evenly! camber does not eat up tires Toe does! google it if you do not know about this please. Fenders in the front are rolled and were done before we painted the car, Rears are not rolled and were cut instead. We decided it was better to cut then to roll that way we can keep the wheels more flush. None of the wheels rub at all! Not the front or back! Does have new fender liners on both sides, they were slightly heated and reformed in certain areas to keep the wheels from rubbing.
Wheels & Tires
Wheels are Drag Dr-27 full polished with 10+ offset 15in wheels, 7 in wide. Tires are kumho ecsta 195/50/15 with brand new tires. not used tires brand new! have about 10 miles on the brand new tires and wheels! tires still have some the stickers on the tire! do have the drag center caps and will come with the car. didnt put them on because i like how it looks with out them. I recommend installing some new lug nuts, I was undecided if i wanted longer wheel studs or stock short ones. the wheel lugs are mis matched some are open and some are closed. i will leave it up to the new owner to install what he or she likes
Interior
ICE COLD AC!! Interior is all brand new exception of the carpet. There is a very small section in the rear carpet where it has a slight tear nothing major unless you pay attention to it,Will come with new floor mats. seats are the stock seats but wrapped in black vinyl leather like material. I decided to do this instead of buying a used gsr leather interior which is all cracked and used up. the seats are nice and tight no ugly loose seats here! rear seats are also covered and are nice and tight too! the headliner was sprayed with a dye or paint at the shop where i got the seats done, it was dyed in black to match the seats. the upper side panels and the front trim panels where painted black as well. I wanted an all black interior because i have never seen one on honda before escpecially on a hatchback. paint does not chip or scratch off! no all of the panels were painted only 4 small panels and the roof the rest of the interior is stock black. door panels have a grey insert which is stock, i left it grey to match the grey trim on the dash that goes around the radio and some of the buttons. Rear glass needs shock hardware to install on the glass. The hardware was no good but the shock are still good. New Sony Radio with AUX input, new door lock cylinders with keys front only.
Paint & Body Work
Paint and body work was the most time consuming but it was well worth it. Now as i stated, the car was in a slight fender bender very very minimal damage. I have the original hood from the accident at my house so you can put everything together and give yourself an idea how it happened. Parts that were replaced are as followed
Hood, Front bumper, both fenders...only one needed to be changed but did not want to bondo it. Core Support is the original core support only one corner was slightly bent which was fixed and everything lines up. Either then that its all orginal.
Body work, the complete car was taken apart. Doors were left on of course, all the trim was taken off the windsheild, door trim was removed with door handles,door mirror removed, lower side skirts were taken off , rear glass with wing was also removed to paint everything right. The body had a few dings here and there common for such and old car no big dents the body was pretty clean. All the dings were fixed. Does have a small spot of orange peel on the roof which can be removed if its wetsanded and buffed. Paint is not flawless it does have a small flaw here and there were dirt got in and that happens to all painted cars so dont expect perfection please. It looks like new and shines like crazy but its not perfect. Paint we used was PPG base coat with SPI clear coat. The car was completely shot and cleared! It was wetsanded, buffed, glazed and will completely detailed when it is delivered!
Everything lines up ok, not perfect but good. these are aftermarket parts remember that so dont expect it to be perfect.
Maintaince and parts replaced
Fresh oil change, new spark plugs, new spark plug wires, new front brakes, cluster was replaced with a different unit. the old cluster did not work and all the needles were broken because the previous owners son put some overlay gauges, when he tried to pull them off he broke the needles. this is why the cluster was replaced. do not know the exact mileage of the car it may be higher but it does have a new motor
Recommended parts that may need to be replaced in the future
this car does not need anything besides a few things that i have not replaced
fuel filter is recommended to be replaced have not replaced it so it would be good piece of mind.
The cat- converter may need to be replaced in the near future, did pass smog the previous time but just barley. Car was sitting for a long time but it did pass. Not gonna guarrantee it will pass. I will provide you with paper work so you can register it with no smog and just pay transfer fees. I will fill out a family member / silbling form and as long as it stays in the family you dont have to smog it for another 1 year and a few months. I have done this many times with my friends. If you are an out of state buyer then I cant help you there.
Rear glass needs shock hardware to install on glass, hardware was no good when we tried to reinstall it. shocks are still good
Payment, Delivery & Inspections
full payment of the car is due within 7 days of the auction closing, 500.00 deposit must be made within 24hrs of the auction closing. I do not accept checks or cashiers checks. will only accept cash in person or bank wire transfer to my bank account only.
if you are an out of state buyer please make your preperations before please, get all your shipping quotes before you bid, i do not ship cars but i can assist you with delivering the car to a near by dock after payment has been complete.

Someone asked if the car has current california registration. Answer yes the car has current california registration, registration is good till March of 2013. Title is in my hand in my name ready for transfering
Also forgot to add that the horn does not work neither does the dome light. I checked the fuses and they are all ok unless there are some hidden fuses, I was told it maybe a relay. it was working fine but i dont know what happened. if i end up fixing it before the listing is over I will update the auction
Windsheld washers squirt and wipers work forgot to add that. most civic the windsheild washers do not work, they work on mine
I will be adding small details as I remember, mostly everything is covered but sometimes you forget a thing or 2.
Updates
Dome Light fully functional now, all the fuses were good. there was power at the dome light but the bulb was no good. bulb looked good but was not good. bulb replaced and now working. lights up when you open the doors, turns off when you close the doors.
Horn still does not work dont know why but it will not work, it was working but dont know what happened.

Sorry I can not help you get a quote, reason being if I get a quote for lets say 600.00 and the following week it cost 800.00 for some odd reason due to the rising cost of fuel then you are not gonna want to get the car shipped and I will lose the sale. So I can not help you, Uship would probably be the cheapest to get the car delivered.

Are you gonna put the " H " emblems on

I do have the front " H " hood emblem. Its not in the best condition but I do have it. The rear " H " emblem that goes on the trunk lid I do not have, that emblem broke since it was very old and brittle. I will leave it to the new owner to decide what kind of emblems he or she wants to put on the car since there are a few options out there.

Yes this is the original color of the car, it came like this from the factory. The name of the color is Tahitian Green Pearl. I ordered a bottle of touch up paint that i got from honda that was special ordered for this color code. it was a pain in the butt to get but i do have a bottle of OEM touch up paint that i will include in the auction incase anyone needs it in the future.
Forgot to add this to the parts replaced catagory, Brake master cylinder was replaced about 6 months ago.

The new motor was bought with about 60k miles and it now has about 75 to 80k miles. Has alot of life left in the motor if you take care of it

No it does not have the Cargo Cover, Most Civic Hatchbacks do not have the Cargo Covers. i bought the Civic with no Cargo Cover
