Simple to setup, use and maintain - this atomizer is a must have for beginners and experts alike.Designed for use with external filters with an internal pipe diameter of 16mm, this external diffuser offers unprecedented CO2 dissolution rates of up to 100%. Thanks to such high dissolution levels, less CO2 needs to be injected into the aquarium to maintain sufficient CO2 levels. Furthermore, because it is connected to the outlet pipe of an external filter, the CO2 is dissolved and mixed with the aquarium water before it reaches the aquarium. Not only does this improve the CO2 dissolution rate, it also vastly improves the clarity of the water as many of the bubbles are already dissolved into the water. Also, because it attaches externally, it doesn't detract attention away from the aquascape. Instead, it hides out of sight with your external filter.
Unlike delicate glass diffusers, the UP Inline CO2 Atomizer is made from high quality, smoked black plastic, making it very durable and reliable. Thanks to the removable suction cups and its small dimensions, this atomizer can easily be mounted on the rear of the aquarium or inside a cupboard, allowing it to remain out of sight. Furthermore, because it isn't inside the aquarium itself, maintenance is a breeze and is required less frequently than with an internal glass diffuser.
To use this atomizer, simply connect it, in-line, to your external filter outlet pipe. Then connect your CO2 bottle regulator to the atomizer with Flo CO2 Proof Tubing, and tighten the safety nut. It is recommended that you set the pressure on your regulator to around 1.5 bar as a starting point. You should then lower the pressure of the regulator until the pressure is insufficient to force the CO2 through the atomizer, then increase slightly from this level. The working pressure needed to use with atomizer will vary with regulators. Please allow a few minutes for sufficient pressure to build up to allow the CO2 to begin passing through; it may not begin instantly.
