Here is an excellent example of a good quality three-piece antique English walnut Art Deco bergere suite comprising two armchairs and a matching two-seat couch, circa 1930 originating from the Art Deco period. The frame of the suite is constructed of English walnut. The suite features fresh replacement single panel cane-work to the sides of the arms and single panel cane work to the back. The suite boasts a lovely curved shape from the back into the sweeping scroll arms. The suite features a central floral carved walnut shaped splat and at the corners of the couch are step-downs, which are typical of the Art Deco period. The base of the suite features a brass-studded frame and below the suite descends onto decorative bun feet at the front and sabre legs to the rear. The suite is fitted with removable cream leather cushions that are all in excellent condition. The suite features a sprung base below. The suite seats up to four people comfortably. This is a very comfortable suite due to the deep design of the frame.
This item would look superb in a variety of rooms from the living room to the conservatory. This item would certainly grace any home and are a great investment as they are an extremely functional. So don't miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture.

Condition Report:
This suite is in excellent condition and is commensurate with age. Although there are some nominal old use marks to the frame, the cane work is in excellent condition. The suite features freshly replaced cane work. The leather cushions are in excellent condition. The frame and arms of the couch are solid in joint and ready to use. Free of woodworm.
