for auction is my 1987 Honda xlv600 transalp.  this is the silver Canadian model, of which only 400 were brought into the country for one year only.  this is an early, low serial number [103] model.  I have owned it for seven years, during which time I have added a taller Rifle fairing, new fork seals and fork gators,  fuel petcock, heated grips, auxillery running lights, slightly taller seat and new cover.  very recently replaced o-ring chain and sprockets, one tooth larger on the countershaft, for more relaxed highway running.  I've had the rims and hubs powdercoated in silver.   the bridgestone trail wing tires are getting a little worn looking, but did pass the safety I just had done on the bike.  I will include original w/s and seat cover, petcock, owners manuel and a spare air filter in the sale.  I have done regular oil changes and a recent valve adjustment.  odometer actually reads 32,000 kilometers, which is approx. 19,000 miles.

shipping: I will assist in any way I can, but please send a truck to my garage, as we will soon be buried in snow up here in the great white north, and I won't transporting anything.

in my experience in shipping motorcycles over the border, several trucking companies advertise online specializing in motorcycle transport, as well as brokerage over the border.  I have used Allied with great results, for instance.
