This boat door latch has a handle on one side and a ring on the other. The latching mechanism works great when I tested it. The little black button by the handle is the lock. The lock does engage and works.
The chrome looks pretty good, it does have some minor pitting. You will get this exact boat door latch. The mounting screws are all missing. They should be easy to replace when installing this.
The rectangular face measures 2 1/4" by 2". The complete face of the ring side is 2 1/4".
