Ovation’s CC-44 Celebrity Deluxe Plus offers a great looking and great playing guitar to players looking for value and pro features. Available in Cherry Figured Ash, Figured Koa, Pauduk, Spalted Maple and Trans Blue Quilt, each top has a unique pattern making every guitar a “one-of-a-kind” instrument.
This model also features a mid-depth body, rosewood fingerboard, gold hardware, and Ovation’s own OP4BT preamp with onboard tuner. (note: the CTBFA Cherry Figured Ash model comes outfitted with a Ovation gig bag).
The Mid-Depth bowl blends elements of Ovation’s Super-Shallow and Deep Bowl designs. Acoustically, the Mid-Depth bowl delivers impressive projection and rich tone, yet even smaller guitarists find it comfortable to hold and play. It’s no surprise Ovation’s LX, AX, and TX models all feature a Mid-Depth body: Its proprietary Lyrachord® construction and roundback® design let it outperform typical “box” guitars. The popular OP-4BT preamp features 3-band EQ with +/-12 dB control over the bass, midrange, and treble frequencies, and a handy battery status light. An accurate and easy-to-use onboard chromatic tuner works equally well for standard, open, and altered tunings.
This series makes Ovation’s acclaimed multi-soundhole technology affordable. Built by Ovation’s Pacific-based subsidiary using the unique Ovation Quintad bracing pattern featured on the more expensive Elite models, this entry-level acoustic/electric will continue to earn its keep as your playing skills mature. Celebrity Multi-Soundhole models benefit from the same USA-made Lyrachord® body as their more upscale American brothers.
