Painted cast iron figural doorstop made by Hubley, catalog #61. This antique Hubley is referred to as Takeo on Floral Cushion wearing a Kimono. This is a 3-piece casting making it more costly and more frequently damaged. Dates back to 1920s-1930s.

Beautiful original paint. Wonderful old untouched surface, but the door stop does show it's age and appropriate wear with some light rust and typical paint loss.. Size is 6 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ x  5 1/4″ tall. All screws are tight. The red kimono boy is a rare find as most I see tend to be green. Very Difficult to find in this condition with vibrant color and minimal paint loss for being 80-90 years old!!!
