The P'8478 C by Porsche Design is one of the latest release of the P'8000 sunglasses. A sculptural classic aviator appearance, an assured, provocative style with a high recognition value. The arms & frame are titanium with gold appearance with brown mirrored lenses plus a spare set of blue lenses which are interchangeable. They are extremely comfortable to wear. Sunglasses comes with an ergonomic protective hard shell case, super fine lint free cloth to polish the lenses and Porsche tags and International 2 year warranty. According to Porsche, only poly carbonate lenses of the highest quality have been used. These lenses provide 100% UV protection. The back surface of the lens have AR coating which reduces irritating reflections and provides the best possible vision comfort. To ensure optimum imaging properties, the sun lenses have a greater curvature [base curve 8] and are also provided with a compensation prism. He buys from the Chinese website Alibaba which he buys for $35 and sells for $239. The model number here quotes is non existent, the hard-case he has pictured is not authentic, Porsche do not make these hard-cases.He claims they are made in Italy. The genuine sunglasses of this model is only manufactured in Japan. Additionally, $239 is far below the wholesale price that the genuine sunglasses are purchased from the Porsche Design distributor.
