From my research this unit is one of 57 built. It has a Chevrolet Corvair engine which is factory. They were built for the U.S. Army and are a very durable and tough vehicle. The unit works well and can run up to speeds of over 30 m.p.h. It has the original aluminum tracks which are in excellent condition for the year. Check out the pictures and feel free to do some research of your own. I'm sure I will learn plenty about this vehicle through this ebay listing. Please feel free to call us at 906-883-3536. We are a Argo Dealer in the U.P. of Michigan. This unit is very rare and I'm sure there is collector value to it. Check out our website at www.patsmotorsports.com and www.patsheavyequipment.com

Shipping is buyer's responsibility. Unit is sold as is no warranty. We did rebuild the carbs and clean the points. Motor runs strong. It does seem to slip a bit in reverse. Forward gears work excellent and it acclerates very fast. For the year I would classify it as being very good conditon. The tub is aluminum so no worries of rust. It came from a local mine here.

I have learned lots about this vehicle and I want to thank you all for that. It appears this unit may be even more rare than I originally expected. I've been told that CL-91's were rear drive and this is a original front drive unit which means it could possibly be 1 of 22 prototypes built by Canadair which would explain the #2 Serial number of the transmission!! Some how it looks like this unit must have made it out into the open and is a true survivor!
