Care:

We strongly recommend washing in cold water, and either hang-drying straight from the washer, or after just a quick 10-15 minutes in the dryer. The color will be preserved much longer if white vinegar is added to your washer’s rinse cycle (no, this does not make your clothing smell like vinegar). This is especially important for the WASHED fabrics (Washed Candy, Washed Reef, Washed Sand), which will launder best washed with vinegar, as this preserves their unique dye treatment. 

Fit/Sizing:

CAUTION: Oh My Gauze clothing does NOT have standard sizing. There can be a LOT of variation between styles, and even between two items of the same style and size. PLEASE REFER TO THE PROVIDED MEASUREMENTS for each style, and also to the Measurement Info below.

OMG offers some styles in a OSFM (One Size Fits Most) size, some styles in 2 sizes (size 1 and size 2), and other styles in 3 sizes (1, 2, and 3). However, all OSFM styles do not fit the same, all size 1s do not fit the same, and so on. So we strongly recommend that buyers refer to the posted APPROXIMATE measurements for any given style, and to please take the time to read the following MEASUREMENT INFO: 

Measurements:

OH MY GAUZE items can often vary in sizing and/or measurements from piece to piece. We measure a sample of each item and list those measurements for your use and reference. However, there may be differences between the sample measurements and the measurements of an item you receive due to this variability. Because of this, we are always happy to measure a specific item for you - please feel free to write and ask to have a particular color/size/style measured if you are unsure of fit.

Color/Dye Lots:

OH MY GAUZE clothing is cut and sewn, and then dyed in batches. Each time a batch is dyed, it has its own unique way of absorbing the dye bath, and as such, we often receive different shades of the same color in different shipments. When a customer orders a top and bottom of the same color in the same order, we always check for a match, and will contact the customer if we cannot find a matching set. Please note: If two OMG items (of the same labeled color) are purchased from different retailers, or at different times, they will often NOT match due to these dye lot issues. We are always happy to help a customer create a matching outfit; however, we recommend purchasing matching items at the same time whenever possible.
 
Using the “Mister Trick” when an item is a bit too snug:

Natural fibers stretch quite easily when wet/damp. If you find that your item is a bit snug/short/etc., you can typically gain 2+ inches in any given direction by using what we call the “mister trick”. Simply spritz the area well to dampen, and then either put the item on, or gently stretch the item in the direction you wish to gain some length/width, etc.   The fabric will stretch without pulling or causing stress to the seams. Then simply allow to air dry. Voila! Our customers LOVE this trick!
