cosmetic imperfections-the kind that might occur with normal use. This
square is manufactured in the USA by Products Engineering Corporation (PEC
Tools), one of the last US precision manufacturing companies. PEC quality
standards are quite high. Many squares did not meet these quality standards and
are now for sale as cosmetic seconds or “blems” at a deep discount. Most have
scratches, discoloration, snall casting imperfections or other blemishes. In
addition, the name brand on each blade has been ground off. PEC makes and
brands rules for numerous other tool companies, so remnants of other tool names
may remain on the blade. The baked on finish on the heads might be blue, grey
or black. The accuracy is good and the square will function accurately as a precision
measuring tool. We guarantee that the length and graduations will be accurate
and that it will be a usable, fully functional measuring device. So
instead of recycling the steel, you have the opportunity to own a premier tool

This is a US made PEC
precision 2 piece 6" combination square. This squares is made in the USA by Products Engineering
Corporation (PEC Tools) a premier US tool manufacturer. It has a hardened and
tempered satin chrome finished steel blade with 1/16 and 1/8 markings on one
side of the blade and 1/32 and 1/64 markings on the other. The blade is .720” wide by .075” thick. The head is
.9/16" thick, 2 1/2" wide and 3 1/4" tall. Square comes with a
hardened scribe and has a bubble level integrated into the head. The entire
square weighs in at 7 ounces and fits nicely in the hand and in an apron
pocket. The angular accuracy is guaranteed to be +/- .001 inches over the entire
length of the blade (that’s one thousandth of an inch over the 6” blade).
