1954 OLDSMOBILE “VISIBLE” Model car by Ideal 19 ½ inches (49 cm) ( 7 inches wide/17cm)

I’m not sure if this was ever wired, but it’s not now, suppose it could be. The plastic chrome is tarnished and discolored in spots. No cracks anywhere, very clean. It’s a monster of a car, Very educational, and true to life. The steering works and front end parts, drive train, differential (cut away metal gears) all look correct. The metal gear shift is in tact on the steering column, and I’ve never messed with it much, but I think it may even shift! The metal cast parts have a light white dusting of oxidization, but are in incredible shape. Other than the chrome fading (all plastic) this toy/model is in top notch condition. How many of these survived? Not many, especially in this fine shape!

The colors are vibrant. Of course the hood and trunk lid open. The motor looks to be all complete, even “mock” plug wires, air cleaner, distributor..the real deal. Very cool. There is a battery box in the trunk. ( red cover) I didn’t photograph it. It is perfect, no corrosion on the 2 brass terminals ( after all, it’s never been powered) Both the head/taillights have metal sockets to receive bulbs if powered. I don’t think anything was powered ( didn’t run along the floor) but the lights, that has the twist switch, all original with rubber cover on the dash.

I’ve owned this for quite a few years, and feel it’s time to let someone else enjoy it. I buy, so I must sell. The cycle continues! Ha!!

I’m a condition freak, so assume others are as well/thus my long winded description. See my feedback. No disappointments when you buy from me. PLEASE ask for more pictures well before auction end. I have lots, especially if you have condition concerns.
