The hinges do go past 90 degrees, stem may need adjustment because it will not release the front hinge; as long as it stays shut, right? The acrylic crystal has some scratches. The dial appears to be blemish free. This watch runs-winds and sets as it should-keeping great time. This watch with it's model 8 brothers I'm listing has been on display under lock and key and may need a cleaning to run accurately. The grid is one inch square.
