Nice quality vintage painted plaster reproduction of ancient Chinese Shang Dynasty bronze owl. Dated 1965. Crisp detail with convincing black/green painted finish in the manner of James Mont. Heavy for size, seems to be solid plaster. 12 1/2" high, base 5 1/2" square. Excellent condition, some minor paint flaking, could be quickly touched up with a black marker.
