Warranty

Naturally the warranty cover does not extend to damage caused by normal wear and tear, accidents, misuses, lack of maintenance, neglect, natural disaster or other external causes; to damage caused by operating the equipment in a manner outside that described in the instructions. 


Please read the following carefully


  • The warranty is considered void if the item has been modified, altered or tampered with by a person(s) not authorized by us to provide service (not including standard periodic maintenance).

  • Please email us through the eBay system if the item(s) is DOA (Dead on Arrival) within 7 days from the date of dispatch

  • All accessories and bonus gifts are not covered by warranty such as carry bags, cables, batteries and the like, and should therefore not be assumed to be part of the purchase. 

  • All goods remain the property of CX Computer Superstore until they are fully paid for. This invoice MUST be presented for proof of warranty, refund or exchange, conditions apply. Software, ink cartridges and consumable products cannot be refunded or exchanged so customer need to check compatibility and ensure correct model before making purchase.

  • Monitors, printers and accessories are sold per manufacturer warranty unless otherwise stated. Virus infection, software issues or user misuse are not covered by any warranty. A service charge may apply if the faults are software related or no faults are found.

  • If the product is replaced, any remaining warranty period will roll over to cover the replacement 

Returns


A.  14 Days change-of-mind returns


Every effort has been made to ensure the description and specification of the item is accurate, subject to manufacture listing error. Buyers are required to read the descriptions and specifications carefully before making a purchase. 


Please read the following carefully:


  • All refunds are subject to a minimum 6% service charge, this includes scenarios in which you decide to cancel your order before your order has been dispatched.

  • If you change your mind after the item(s) has been dispatched, the item(s) must be returned to us with 14 days from the day we dispatched for a refund. Item(s) must be in factory sealed and unopened condition. If the item(s) has been opened / unboxed there will be a 15% restocking fee and $10 administration fee

  • If you change your mind after the 14 day period please see below the following charges that apply:

  1. 15% + $10 administaryion fee - after 14 days
  2. 30% + $15 administration fee - after 28 days
  3. 50% + $20 administration fee - after 60 days

  • Please be advised that return postage is to be paid by the buyer and that the postage to return the item is non refundable

  • We reserve the right to refuse a refund on a change-of-mind return if the item(s) is no longer in a resellable condition.

B.  DOA (Dead on arrival) Returns


Please read the following carefully


  • If you receive a DOA item(s) upon delivery, we will either replace it with a new unit or refund you the purchase price provided a DOA claim is madewithin 7 business days of the product being received.

  • The customer is liable for the postage costs in returning the item to us, even if it's DOA.  We do not refund the postage costs under any circumstances.

  • Item(s) should be returned to us with the original, undamaged packaging including all accessories and manuals that shipped with the item(s). If any of the package item(s) is not included, we reserve the right to reject your DOA claim. 

  • CX Computers may take up to 1-2 weeks from the time we receive the faulty item(s) to resolve your claim.

C.  Warranty Returns


Please read the following carefully:


  • All products sold by CX Computers is covered by a 12 months warranty, starting from the date of purchase unless otherwise specified 

  • The processing time is generally 1-2 weeks from the time we receive the faulty unit but this can vary depending on the type of product. Please be advised that return postage is to be paid by the buyer. 

  • Please affix your eBay user ID or, where provided, your returns number on your returned item(s), this will ensure a much more efficient and effective process without further delays 

  • All items we sell come with a manufacturer's warranty unless otherwise specified. In such cases, you can contact the manufacture directly as they have additional expertise in diagnosing and resolving any issues with your products which CX Computers does not posses

  • The warranty process for certain products may be expedited when dealing directly with the manufacture as opposed to through an intermediary such as CX Computers.

Missing Item(s) and Delivery


If you believe an error has been made in shipping your item, please contact us. Please understand that we have limited control over the delivery process but we will work with our couriers to ensure that you receive the product in a prompt and complete manner.


  • Please ensure that your postal address registered on eBay is correct as we ship all orders based on your eBay address and NOT the PayPal address.

  • Delivery to and from an authorized service agent for warranty repairs must be arranged by customer. CX Computer will not be held responsible for any cost incurred.

  • We are not responsible for any lost or undelivered item(s) as a result of an incorrect shipping address

  • The customer is liable for any postage charges incurred to resend the returned packages

  • Pick-up is not available for any item(s) and we are unable to make any exceptions

  • We use a range of couriers which include Toll, Direct freight, Fastway and Australia post. The service we use for your order is selected automatically by a freighting system

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.


We try to despatch all orders within 3 business days of verifying the payment. We generally use Australia Post eParcel for shipping, but may use Australia Post standard mail service for certain items. Please refer to the product listing for details.

We ship to address provided in eBay. Please make sure your shipping details in your eBay account are correct as we cannot guarantee that it can be changed. This is because we use an automated order processing system, so all orders will go through to our warehouse for packing once payment has been verified.

We recommend purchasing postal insurance for your parcel, this will cover you for any loss or damage in transit. Please select "Postage with signature" postal service during checkout, for your parcel to be covered by postal insurance.

*We do not take responsibility for damaged or lost parcels if no insurance cover was purchased for that item.
