Here for sale is a very near mint (looks almost new) Minolta Autocord TLR from the late 1960s. Most Autocords date from the 50s. As well as looking fantastic it is in fully working condition. The shutter looks and sounds correct on all speeds. The optics are perfect with no fungus, scratches, haze and hardly any internal dust. The mirror and screen are unmarked. The film focus and screen image both agree, not to be taken for granted with any twin lens reflex. All the controls operate smoothly and correctly. Film winds through properly with good frame spacing. The on film performance of this camera is excellent, very sharp and contrasty at all apertures. I ran the same black and white film through this camera and my Rolleiflex 3.5E and if anything the Minolta gave more contrast! The sharpness was about the same. If I wasn't such a camera snob I would sell the Rollei and keep this camera! It comes with its real leather case in amazing condition. The lens cap and strap are included. The strap is unique to this model of Autocord and if lost it is very difficult to fit another. Everything will be very well packaged for next day Special Delivery (UK). Overseas delivery is also available. If you want the best Autocord in the world, this is it, probably!
