St John Paul II and Divine Mercy

Single Decade Rosary

Beautiful single decade rosary chaplet with an unusual, one-of-a-kind combination of beads.

Chaplet has a 7/8" brand new two-sided medal with an absolutely beautiful image of Pope St John Paul II on one side and the Divine Mercy Jesus on the other.  Our new Saint is shown in a familiar pose - thoughtful, contemplative prayer.  This medal was made after his canonization; he is shown with a halo and the word "Saint" is etched into the medal by his folded hands.  The Divine Mercy image is nicely detailed, also.  A really nice nickel silver and silver-plated medal, new from Italy.

The single Our Father bead is a genuine semi-precious gemstone of glossy black with lacy gray markings - Snowflake Obsidian.   The ten Hail Mary beads are faceted and fire-polished Czech glass in a random mix of emerald green, sapphire blue, aqua/crystal, and ruby/crystal. The ruby/crystal bi-color beads symbolize the blood and water which flowed from Christ's side during the Crucifixion; which is the source and symbol of His Divine Mercy.  The gold-toned 1-1/2" St Benedict crucifix adds the interest of another great saint to this chaplet.  Both medal and crucifix were made in Italy; the chaplet itself was designed and handmade in the USA by my sister, Joan.  About 9-1/4" long, it would make a beautiful gift for a man or woman, boy or girl; especially anyone who loved Pope John Paul II and celebrates his canonization.

Comes gift boxed and with the following accessories:

This chaplet is easy to use for saying both the Divine Mercy and the Rosary.  If you haven't yet started praying this beautiful devotion, which is spreading throughout the world, you just have to try it!  It takes only a few minutes - the prayers are short and easy to remember. It is an extremely powerful prayer. Trust in Him!!  "Be Not Afraid"!!
