Pentax 50mm f1.8 SMC DA Lens

The Pentax-DA 50mm f/1.8 Lens is a fast, prime, lightweight lens designed exclusively for Pentax K-Mount digital cameras. This lens features a large maximum aperture of f/1.8 and a round diaphragm to ensure a natural, beautiful bokeh (out of focus) effect, making it ideal for portraits and snapshots. Thanks to its large aperture, the lens allows for faster shutter speeds and offers superb handheld, low-light performance with no blur or noise. The front of the lens is equipped with SP (Super Protect) Coating to repel dust, water and grease from the surface of the lens.

1. High-quality image description
Thanks to state-of-the-art PENTAX optical design technology, the image circle of the lens has been optimised for K-mount interchangeable-lens digital cameras to effectively counter astigmatism for sharp, clear images.

2. Easy-to-handle medium-telephoto lens
When mounted on a PENTAX K-mount interchangeable-lens digital camera body, this medium-telephoto lens offers a focal length of approximately 76.5mm in the 35mm format. This gives the user a moderate-telephoto perspective, perfect for portrait photography with a smooth, beautiful bokeh effect in the background. The exterior surface is treated with the PENTAX-original SP (Super Protect) Coating to not only repel dust, water and grease, but also to allow the easy removal of grease from the surface. This ensures worry-free shooting in any situation.

3. F1.8 maximum aperture
Thanks to its large F1.8 maximum aperture, the lens can easily produce images with a very shallow depth of field. Its round diaphragm produces a natural, beautiful bokeh effect, while minimising streaking of point light sources. The large aperture also makes it possible to use faster shutter speeds under poor lighting conditions to minimise the risk of camera and subject shake.

4. Compact, lightweight design
Measuring just 38.5 millimetres in length and weighing only 122 grams, this lens has a compact, lightweight design making it easy to carry along on any photography trip.

Standard UK shipping is FREE.

UK orders under £300 are sent by Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery. Most items are delivered the next working day, but Royal Mail's estimate for this delivery service is 1-3 days. However, please bear in mind that we cannot contact Royal Mail about deliveries that have not arrived until ten working days have passed.

We also offer GUARANTEED NEXT WORKING DAY DELIVERY for an additional £6.99.

UK orders over £300 will either be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery, or DHL Courier. Both will arrive next working day.

ANY ORDERS FROM OUTSIDE THE UK MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL SHIPPING FEES APPLIED BASED ON THEIR DESTINATION.

We are happy to ship to most countries, but if you are ordering from outside Europe please contact us first for a quote and to check the guidelines regarding addresses we are able to ship to.

If you wish to return an item, please return to the address below with a short cover note explaining the reason return and what you would like done, a note of ebay user name, and a copy of your receipt. This will ensure that your return is dealt with as quickly as possible.

RETURNS OF UNWANTED ITEMS MUST BE WITHIN 30 DAYS OF RECEIVING THE ITEMS.

Items that are returned to us in perfect unopened and unused condition will receive a full refund.

Any item that has been opened or used will incur a 10% restocking/repackaging fee.

This includes sealed boxes, or sealed accessories and manual/software included in boxes.

We are unable to accept returns of consumables that have been opened, this includes batteries, memory cards, filters, paper and film.
